Munson Healthcare Virtual Town Hall - Kids and COVID-19

Dear Leland Community,

We wanted to share some resources and information about COVID-19 vaccines that you may find useful.

Last week, Munson Healthcare hosted a virtual townhall focused on kids and COVID-19 to dispel some of the misinformation that may have been circulating in our communities. Pediatrician Dr. Joe Santangelo led that discussion and offered a valuable perspective that we felt was important to share with our school families who may still be considering vaccination.

That hourlong event was recorded and can be viewed online here. In addition, Munson Healthcare has an extensive list of FAQs and other information on its website that can be reviewed here

As it has been throughout this pandemic, the health of our school communities remains a priority and we encourage you to review this material so that you fully understand the facts around COVID-19 vaccines and can make the right decision for yourself and your family.
